Coverage follows reader need
The editorial team chooses the topic. Search intent, safety impact, reader questions, and available evidence determine whether a guide is useful.
Learn how FirewallGuide separates commercial relationships from editorial decisions, labels affiliate links, and protects independent security guidance.
FirewallGuide does not currently publish paid product placements or use affiliate purchase links. A normal link to a vendor, standard, registry, or security resource is included because it supports a claim or helps a reader complete a task. It is not evidence that the destination paid for coverage, approved the page, or received a favorable conclusion.
If an affiliate relationship is introduced later, the affected page and link will identify it clearly before a reader acts. This disclosure will also be updated. A commercial arrangement will not permit a sponsor or merchant to choose a rating, suppress a limitation, review an article before publication, or replace the source and testing standards in the FirewallGuide editorial policy.

Sources and disclosed methods support claims. Payment, supplied access, or a referral rate cannot turn an unsupported statement into a recommendation.
A disclosure appears where it matters. Readers should not need to search a separate policy to learn that a purchase link may generate revenue.
A product link does not mean FirewallGuide tested, owns, endorses, or guarantees that product. Product interfaces, support periods, prices, and features change. Readers should confirm the current version, support status, total cost, privacy terms, and compatibility with their environment on the responsible vendor's website before buying or changing a security control.
Where a page compares options, it must explain the criteria and limits. Documentation research is labeled as such and is not described as hands-on laboratory testing. An old product review may redirect to current evaluation guidance when its model, evidence, or support status can no longer justify a present-day verdict.
If a link appears commercial but is not disclosed, or if a relationship could reasonably affect how a page is understood, report the URL and link through the contact page. FirewallGuide will review the relationship, correct the page where needed, and update this disclosure if the site's revenue model changes.
